Always

Married we will be…

So, I will never say

That we’ll never be a “we”.

I will always know

When to be there for you

I will never see

You are falling apart and not know what to do.

I will always hear

That you only speak the truth.

And I will never believe

That you are worse than an achy tooth.

I will always think

“You are so beautiful”.

And I will never tell you

“It’s only because I love you”.

And you will always tell me

 "Follow your dreams”.

Because you will never tell me to

Just let it be.

So, I am going to need you to

Be by my side.

And I know that you will never

Leave me alone when someone I love dies.

How could you ever

Tell me no.

For what I want, You will always

use a little lesson called quid pro quo.

Everyone knows you can

Never cheat on me.

Because you lied when you said that you would

Never Marry Me.

(Now read backwards)
