Always been that one

Always been that one. Always been the one to please everyone. Worried about people who were so opinionated. So insecure and afraid of what others thought of me. The one that couldn't defend herself. Always been that one. Always been that one. The epitome of loneliness. Vacant interior, but facades won't allow me to show true feelings. The so called pride I have won't let me hang my head low. Always been that one. Always been that one, To genuinely smile. No matter what the situation was, the pain was always funny to me. I've cried so much I can't even weep anymore. Always been that one. Always been that one, So seclude and independent. Forced to do things on my own because I could never find help. The one who'd lay in the dark reminiscing the precious memories. The memories that I abandoned when I should've cherished them. Always been that one. I've always been that one, That would let words break me, but because I am resilient, I resurrect everytime. Listened to others like I didn't have the mind of my own. Let others control me because I felt like what I did wasn't enough. Always been that one. Just always been that one. I'm willing to fix that, unfortunately everything can't go my way, so I have to remain that one.
