This Always Happens

So you claim

"Everything I do is for you"

Then why is it anytime I speak

Anytime I disagree

You yell and blatantly call me a bitch

You hit me and later deny it

All that’s for me is it?

I bet that’s why I used to be so scared

That is why my voice falters when I yell

Everything you do is for me.

You claim you wouldn’t be here.

I know you’re not that strong

You need to be here since this is where your connections are

If you ran away home you’d notice those you abandoned have forgotten about you

I might be all you have

You use that fact to guilt me

You make me cry and break more than anyone else

You have that awful power

I wouldn’t deny it

Everything you do is for me.
