always keep fighting

thank you, sweet one, for telling me I was special

you pressed your hand to mine

you looked me in the eyes

you made my words feel like they mattered

perhaps this feeling is not unique

but, boy, you sure made me feel like something else

and I find it hard to believe that playing an angel is not method acting for you

and I think, perhaps, I'm going to be okay
