Always On My Mind

Always, you are here When I take a look around You are the rain in my hair The shadows on the ground I hear the words you whisper As you surround me like the wind A voice that always beckons me As an always loving friend You’re always in my prayers Your face is all I see I hear your laugh in the back of my mind And remember what we said we’d be I’m sorry that I hurt you But now I’m begging you to hear I found a reason to be different A reason to be new A reason to be everything I never was And that reason, is you.
