Always noises

Ecclesiastes 4:6 New King James Version (NKJV) 6 Better a handful with quietness than both hands full, together with toil and grasping for the wind. Here is a new day and the quiet is already gone. The heater softly zooms to keep the temperature up to par. The way of life now is noisy, but to be considered peaceful only to be noticed in the night when daylight is still afar. Quiet is only noticed when stillness is expected. Does it have to do with the frame of the heart? Maybe that is what’s wrong with today’s living. Serenity runs in circles and forever seems departed Computer is buzzing and the fridge is doing its part. The birds and ferrets are sleeping no noise they are producing. The heater kicks on again and disguises other noises. Maybe that is what sleep is for in life's card deck with only deuces. Jan Wienen
