Always There

Darkness fell, I could not see at all.

Every step I took, I would stumble and fall.

I cursed the darkness as I fumbled about, at the top of my lungs I would scream, curse, and shout.

I was lost and could not find my way, but the very moment I thought of you, you were the light that brightened and showed me the way.
