Always There

When I first started in this world,

It was carefree, living my days so happy, so energetic.

As time went on and I began to get older, life wasn’t so carefree, things became harder.

I looked for pick me up everywhere I went, I looked and looked, I looked for them in my friends,

in objects, online.

But I was so blind that I thought those pick me up, that the desire, the inspiration I was looking

 for was something that I could find brand new.

I was trying to make everyone my desire,

 I was trying to make objects my inspiration.

 I was so blind to the world that I didn’t stop to realize the all the inspiration I need,

 all the desire I wanted,

 and I was so blind that I didn’t realize that every person that picked me up was my family.

 My pick me up was my uncle,

when I decided to make a bad choice, he was there to help me,

 without him I wouldn’t be here all because of one choice I made,

 It almost drowned me, and he was brave enough to pick me up.

My desire was my mother,

She had me at a young age,

 and she had always worked her hardest to give me and my brother everything we ever needed, she always pushes me to be better and try new thing.

My inspiration comes from my dad,

 he had to grow up quick,

 he was just a kid when he had to start being man.

  No matter what happens in life,

always push forward,

 always give it your all.

My dad is my biggest inspiration,

everything he’s been though,

shows me anything is possible.

 All my inspiration comes from my loved ones,

every day I see the world around me, and I see the bad,

 it’s all around me,

 its above me,

 it’s under me,

all the bad things happening in the world is enough to suffocate a person.

 But there’s good and all the inspiration that motivates me to do better and be better is something that I carry with me,

always because it was always there.
