always waiting

im waiting

waiting for happiness

waiting to not feel

like

im

falling apart.

waiting for a happier day,

waiting for a day

where the sun shines on my face

and the radiance of it

makes me smile with my

eyes

closed.

im waiting for

the day that I hold your hand

and it ignites me with fireworks

reminding me

how

in

love

am

with

him.

but I'm sitting here

frozen

because I'm terrified

of everyone leaving

because that's all everyone seems to do.
