Always Wrong

Before our time,

Gender was not important.

People could change back and forth,

Inbetween or neither.

Then one day Zeus got mad

After being tricked by a person who was both.

He took the power of fluctuation away

And assigned a gender to each individual.

Some people felt they were assigned correctly,

Others were supposed to be a different binary gender.

But worse still were those who were nonbinary,

Either both or neither,

Who were stuck in one body for the rest of their lives.

To this day, this problem plagues the world.

Those who were assigned the wrong binary body

Can now change to the one meant for them.

However, the nonbinary people are still trapped.

Forever in one body.

Never acknowledged.

Always

Wrong.
