Always in your shadow

Since I was young I was always in your shadowWhy?Because you have always been better than meAlwaysEverything you did was goodEverything I did was wrongWhy?Because you were perfect and I was notIt made me angryWhy?Because I couldn’t do anything against itBut then the day cameYou fell and you made a big mistakeShould I be happy?I should be, right? But I couldn’t be happyThe moment when I could be the better oneI threw it awayWhy?Because I love youAnd I want things to be like they were beforeBut that won’t happen againYou are not the old you anymoreWhy?Because of the choices you made in lifeBut remember that I will always be there for youIn your own shadow
