A.M.

1 A.M. thoughts cascading down my mind, causing me to forget my bearings, my sanity, and my time. To proud to tell my family, too lonely to tell my friends. Too terrified to think the pain could ever end. My bright future begins to blind me, I start to think not even the beam light could find me. If I have brains, it must be hiding. Unqualified, the word starts banging like a door, my mental state and common sense lay in a heap on the floor. These 2 A.M. thoughts, these 5 A.M. thoughts, these 4 P.M. thoughts, these everyday, all the time thoughts! They come and go, don't ask when, no one knows
