Am I

I’d write for hours

To explain how i feel,

All the things i wish i could say

don’t seem so straight,

The stars behind my eyes

Are slowly fading away,

The galaxies inside my mind

Are rapidly just dying,

I simply gave up,

Knowing my luck.

My smiles aren’t always happy

People judge way too fast,

These frowns on my face aren’t always upset

but my feelings are just to forget,

Some say happiness will come and find you

     yet it still hasn’t came,

Am I not ready to be truly happy?

Am i ready at all is to say.

All I see are broken faces

     Lost in all this space

     The moon split in half

As my stars from up above,

will start falling like fireworks the day you'll leave

     My sun won't have purpose,

Nor my sky would be clear.

At that point there won't be happiness

When you're no longer going to be here.

   All the memories we made

   might simply fade away.

The letters I’ll write only you could read

Wish you could’ve stayed longer indeed

   A bond we had created,

   Our love ran so deep

Everything we shared, the nights we cried

Will forever stay in our hearts.

  A friend that i thought I’d keep

Will leave the sooner the better she believed

The day would come where you’d leave for good

I’d hold you and wipe the tears off your face.

Don’t want you to leave I would scream

Why can’t this all be a dream

I’d want to forget, but I surely know I won’t

I’d want to let go, but I surely know i don’t
