Am I Corrupted Treasure?

It's crazy how open you could be towards someone.

Trusting them with all you have

Spreading yourself as wide as an eagle spreads its wings

And still nothing but dissappointment floats.

As I enter a mysterious abyss, the light begins to fade and

My faith in you is gone.

And as tears run down my face, I think about everything I ever gave you

I gave you everything I had.

I gave you me, my treasure, my last breathing breath

And still, still you threw me away

Like I was worthless, like I was nothing.

I sat up night after night thinking about what I did wrong

Questioning myself about what I did to make you do this because in my mind

You were this beautiful person painted picture perfect and I didn't want to taint that image

But

I know now what I didn't know then

You didn't derserve me and you never will
