Am I a failure?

This weekend I felt like a failure.

Went out into public with a new painting to sell.

Now I am looking for truth. Is failing my true nature?

I worked on the design for hours. I thought it was good.

The passer by said "keep trying"

I thought fuck you - my work is fine - you just misunderstood.

Maybe I should have more talent or maybe need to work smarter.

Or should I even care what they thought?

Right or wrong I do care - so will work on it a little bit harder.

This poem makes me think about a person who has failed once and thinks he's no longer good enough and will never succeed again. You should just take it as a teaching lesson and get better! You will succeed
