Am I purposefull?

I'm walking the path lost in my pain,

My arms are sore from the shackles and chains,

My heart unguarded and covered with shame,

I have no hope, no goal, no aim,

Everyday just feels dull, the same,

I have no purpose,

My life's a waist,

No love ever felt through storm and rain,

My wonded heart with cuts and stains,

As temptation causes stress and strain,

Pulling on me every which way,

Troubles and hardships for I am slave,

My life has to be more than all of this!
