am i ready for you?

Am I ready for you?
The love you want to give
The patience you have that's real.
The touches I can already feel.
Getting myself prepared for the thrill
Makes me wanna already sign the deal.
I can imagine your smile that lights up my day,
That makes my pain go away, that melts my heart in every way-
hoping that you'll stay and do all the things you say.

Am I ready for you?
The attention you'll give, the honesty that's so real.
The long-lost wait, the fate--that replaced the feeling of hate,
for wanting something great but it feels like it's too late.

Did I miss you?
Did you pass me? Can you see me?
I'm still here------ wondering if I'm ready.
