Am I a Sinner?

Am I but a sinner?

A helpless imperfect soul,

Drifting endlessly through space and time

With no hope in my heart?

Is there no more chance for me?

Am I doomed to meet a fate

Where there is no redemption from

Hell's looming fiery gate?

Have I passed the point of no return?

Am I beyond the Father's mercy?

Have I strayed to far from the path

that no one now can save me?

Yes, I am a sinner,

As is everyone.

Every single being on earth

Has faults of their own.

Many mistakes I have made in my life,

As countless as the multitudes fed.

But the Lord can forgive every one

Through His blood that He willingly shed.

To him am I ever indebted

For this gift He has given to me,

To never stop trying to be better

And become all that I can possibly be.
