Am I Worthy?

What is it that makes ME worthy?

That is quite a question.

To answer this I made quite a journey,

and my answers are things I would like to mention.

I know my body isn't "ideal",

but I feel as if I've made a deal.

I'm happy,

and that makes me worthy.

I have found something else upon my journey,

I am a girl Tuba player,

and I am no soothsayer,

I have come far,

and I don't wish to become a star.

Though I'm sure I could,

I'm happy underneath my hood.

That makes me worthy.

One more thing that I have discovered upon my journey,

I am not alone.

I may only contact them over the phone,

because they are across the sea,

but I know that they are there for me.

And that makes me feel worthy.

There is quite a question,

that everyone has an answer to mention.

To answer it we all go on a journey,

"what is it that makes ME worthy?"
