AmandaLand
AmandaLand, it can be a tough place because I can't put you in your proper place
But what also exists there is your good heart and your beautiful face
AmandaLand, it's a place where I can be very happy or very sad
AmandaLand, it's a place where I can be very content or very mad
Why oh why are you always so much in my head?
Sometimes I say these things about you that I wish that I never said
You just don't feel the same way about me the way that I feel about you
But I know that in your own way, you really do care about me too
AmandaLand, it's a place where I always find myself overthinking
I am thinking about a fantasy life with you and about you I am always dreaming
But reality is much different as we both work in a fast paced and stressful place
But what also gets me through it is your good heart and your beautiful face
AmandaLand, it's never free and easy, it's always make it difficult and complex
It isn't always easy to read you and I don't know what is coming next
AmandaLand, to exist there, I really need to put you in your proper place
But this is never easy for me as I am reminded of your good heart and your beautiful face
AmandaLand, it's a place where I have to be careful of what I say and do
But this is never easy for me because I am really infatuated with you
I know if I put myself out there, there will only be rejection and pain in store
But then you showcase your good heart to me, which only makes me want you more
AmandaLand, it's a place I want to leave and a place that I really want to stay
But I know in order to stay there, I need to give you your proper space
But I know there will always be a line with you that I can't cross
There are days that I really struggle with my feelings for you and I am at a loss
AmandaLand, there are days where it's not a state of mind and things are much more easy
When you are not physically there and I am not pining for you and being so needy
AmandaLand, sometimes it's a place that I really want to leave
But I know you need me there, so I stay and about you, I continue to dream
AmandaLand, it's a place where you are in control and hold all of the keys
I know if I cross too many lines with you, you could easily get rid of me
I can't always put you in your proper place and I just don't know what to do
I guess it will always be a struggle for me here becuse of the feelings that I have for you

Highly personal/autobiographical obsession with Amanda; minimal abstraction.
Multiple distinct ideas per stanza; steady accumulation of emotional conflict.
Predominantly melancholic, conflicted, yearning; some moments of hope undercut by rejection.
Introspective, anxious tone; repetition creates intensity but language lacks explosive force.
Approximately 48 lines; falls within 31-60 range, upper end.
Minimal metaphor; 'AmandaLand' is extended conceit but mostly declarative emotional statements.
Pure lyric confessional voice; introspective internal monologue addressing Amanda directly.
