The Amazing Gift

What a wonderful thing it is to know

Only the greatest of all people understand

As a child my life was at all time low

Until a king showed me in all the land,

The greatest gift I would never forget

The art, the science, and the stuggle of chess.

So intruiged I told my parents a bet:

I would one day be the best! And no less!

This quest would bring me friends, joy, ambitions,

Ones that I would not have pursued before.

To be among the elite mathematicians

And to look forward to the next board war.

To find out the cruicial part of the story

I looked to my chess life and all it's glory.
