Ambiguity of Ocean
You have the power to wear away rock,
But allow me to dip my toes in you.
You create storms unmatched in size and strength,
But fill me with undeniable peace.
White tips and an unseeable bottom;
You are a paradox. Yet when you’re near
I feel no confusion nor displeasure.
All is good and clear. I no longer hurt.
You give me the will to see the sunrise
When I think each sunset may be my last.
