Ambition

The days of my youth are so hard, but in a way kind.
I can do anything I set my mind
To. WIthout Knowing this, I would be blind.
I will do whatever it takes to succeed.
IT IS IN ME, I have everything I need.
Things are so hard, but giving in would be accepting defeat.
It'll be like climbing a mountain without moving my feet.
My ambition burns like a never ending fire.
People recognize and admire my desire.
I tell them, it is not only in me, but in you too.
Some don't believe me, but HEY that's nothing new.
With God's love, I won't stop
until I've reached the mountain top.
I'll make my dreams into reality
Because I know the keys lie within me.
