The Ambition Flows

Pardon me But the ambition flows Deep within my veins Into my heart and spirit Oh yes, the ambition flows Try going on Ramen and bologna sandwiches Penny scrounging for bread and milk Even pawning gold bracelets for the university enrollment fee Having jeans with rips forming and trying to make the best with one pair of shoes While my peers got their first cars and cell phones I couldn't wait to work to take the strain off my family But now I've graduated with a bachelor's and I still can't fight the way of life and humanity One thing for certain The ambition flows Deep in my veins Embedded in my mind and spirit Oh, the ambition flows
