America

Oh America America what have you done

Treating them like animals what have you become,

with no interest we have thought of them

With no feelings we have trial them

With no care we have punish them

At the end we can't refer to them

And what we make of them

Is our future in the end

Oh America America what have you become

First a light of justice and a beam of hope

Oh what have you become, now you're sending

people straight to death row

No matter why you're there you're never come home

The problems you have created will never be undone

though justice is blind she stills sees colors

though justice is free she stills has her dollar

s we treat prisoners like they need a collar

We are incarcerating their brothers

some people aren't lucky to be saved by a caller

and when we think of freedom we will know is over
