America

Made for the land of the free

Everyone comes to get a degree

Built from the bottom-up,

But filled with all kind of screw ups

We need to be an example

For the future, a sample

But something is very wrong

Same as a badly tuned song

Repression and depression

We hide it, but we’re full of aggression

We hide it because of fear

Fear that the end of your supremacy is near

Fear that the cops are near

The majority will leave the minority in poverty

Decades after freedom, they still show animosity

What do we do to solve this issue

Do we oppress the oppressor

Or aggress the aggressors

No, that wouldn’t be right

You were taught not to fight

Instead let’s become a nation of not different colors but only shades

They’re scared too, so let’s persuade,

That we are all equal, one in the same

So stand together so we can put out this flame

One love
