America
You wanted to do you
… you said I was stopping you
I moved.
Now you come around acting like everything’s ok and I think… you’re wrong
You shot me with disrespect, toyed me with dishonesty, and aided me with your lies
My scrapped knee can heal, but my heart remain an open soar until another surgeon comes and repairs what you have damaged
The constant fear of open heart surgery or letting someone into your … open … heart
Makes the feelings and emotions gather and shut down
They create a DO NOT ENTER sign and choose this ONE WAY path of regret being stopped by a never greening red light
You said you wanted more space… I gave it to you
But oddly enough your space was invaded by another student
I was expelled.
You cut me off but still want me to hold on. NO.
You tell me lies but you still want me to listen honestly. NO.
You shatter my heart but you want me to be invincible. NO.
I can’t. Not any more.
