America could be giving all

America could be giving all the homeless a place to sleep

Little hungry babies enough to eat

We could be going to bed a little easier at night

Instead they want to make us fight

We could be educating

Instead we're speculating

While they hide what they're debating

It's got me guessing what they're contemplating

All I shout and all I see

People think I'm just crazy

Truth is they are too damn lazy

To make the changes they wan to see

So while I watch day turn to night

I will stay peaceful in my fight

Hey everyone, I'm a very thoughtful and introspective aspiring writer. I've gone through some heavy stuff and writing helps tremendously and I joined powerpoetry to keep me inspired and going and help deal with the demons. I love music, making independent short films and music videos and of course writing.
