America the Great?

I'm one hundred percent sure all odds are agaisnt me

It's represented by what I find when I walk down the street

Poor families of 17, making 20k a year hardly enough money to eat

They say we have a chance in this country

They say we just aren't trying hard enough to be the best we can be

What they aren't saying is that they aren't treating us the best they could treat

All these facts against us, making us look like savages

Using unfair laws to manipulate the media

When the real monsters are the ones who write the pages

The ones who use evidence from when they were "against us"

Then on another page acting as if they stand with us

So here comes the question, is America Great?

Im sure for those it likes it's a paradise

But it has no sympathy for those we make it hate
