America under CCTV

Free indeed, free indeed,

one nation under CCTV.

Don't teach me,

about a glorious country,

tell me again,

about Sandy Hook Elementary,

and obesity,

Don't teach me about,

democracy,

When we all know,

"People's Choice'

is just a formality.

A true dishonesty,

when we "vote"

with no effect on policy

If we actually decided,

 What cacaphony,

How could the government,

Bother with such frivolity,

No need to bother though,

When we are watched constantly,

With no apology,

only with a waving "social contract"

I don't remember signing,

I don't remember hypocrisy,

stamped on Ms. Liberty,

Here in America,

Do we truly breathe Free?

Is our promised golden door,

not really just locked and barred?

Ms. Liberty,

We have truly,

forsaken thee,

and let me assure,

Ms. Liberty,

You are under,

CCTV.
