America as we know it

Red white and blue

The colors of our country

Red white and blue

We know that much is true

Red for the stripes on our flag

Red for the blood of our soldiers

So carelessly spilled mag after mag

Blue for the square full stars

Blue for the tears of the families

That aren’t as full as ours

White for the stars that represent our free states

White for the last thing they saw

Before they entered the pearly gates

Red white and blue

The colors of our country

Red white and blue

We know that much is true
