American ?

Someone once asked me did I myself feel like I was an American and I knew I was being timed and I didn't want any of my answers to be stepping out of line.

My mama always taught me to say what's on my mind so I went for it and I said no .  Maybe because this person felt like an American that their only response was oh I had my reasons but I didn't say so .

You see I don't feel like an American because many years ago the color of my skin was ranked in a category that I couldn't outshow .

My people couldn't be considered American because our skin spoke languages that can never be felt .

If I was Jewish I'd still have to burn in hell and if I bowed down to Allah I would be labeled as a bomb because I believed in Islam.

If my skin was white enough I'd have to assign to be a member of the Ku Klux Klan .

So no I don't feel like an American because even when you fight for this country you not really inheriting .

My cousin told me that he still feel alone at war I mean look who we got for our president.

Who voted may we ask ? We Still haven’t found any evidence so no I don't feel like an American .

Even my own president couldn't look me in the eyes if I was next up to take his spot as president
