American Dream

Welder, God said let there be light

I said watch your eyes

Welding is like sewing with fire

The pain is real, these burns were earned

Sparks ignite

lighting up a room that was once darkness

Adrenaline pumping through my veins

Satisfaction of the end result fills my heart

 Taking my future to college

With dedication and hard work

Shocking the world of my skills

Welding flows through my blood

as if it was in my DNA

My passion for welding will never die

My craft is one of pride and respect

Because only a few can do what I can
