The American Dream

With a Coke in one hand and a gun in another

The white picket fence is covered with blood splatter

The promise of Democracy

With the corruption of greed

All ignored by glowing screens

Filled with places, and people, and things we think we need

Yet we're all 1 percenters fighting for our dream
