The American "Dream"

This is America.

It is the land of the free. It is the land of the opportunity.

My parents touched this soil not for themselves,

For it was too late for them,

But for me. For my brothers.

This is America.

It is the land of judgment. It is the land of competition.

We’re judged by the color of our skin and the languages we speak.

Never get too comfortable,

And always shoot for the stars.

This is America.

It is the land of knowledge. It is the land of school.

Education is everything here.

Without education, you are nothing.

Never forget to thrive in school.

For this is America

And you can’t make a name for yourself

At least not without a degree.
