American English

There are many languages

from around the world

but where is the love, sexiness

that came rolling off my tongue

some say French some say Spanish

argumental are the words of love

but we travel

around the world

in search of something

i came to America

born in the U.S. of A.

learning and speaking

English along the way

a lady fell in love

with the way i spoke, the her of friendship

softly into her ears

she whispered back you speak

the language of love

that i understand
