America's locked gate

America,

so beautifully diverse,

with people evolving,

but has that reversed?

America,

your leaders have power,

but too much of this

has made them lead louder.

America,

the people sail seas

to reach some great freedom

but don't have the keys.

America,

you're falling apart,

I'm greatful

but others are forced to depart.
