AMETHYST

Amethyst is the color of the sky before it turns black

It is stuck between lavender and purple,

Amethyst does not know where to go

Amethyst is a quiet color,

Yet vibrant to the eye

Amethyst does not want to be bright, but knows it is beautiful

Amethyst is a shy color, and never wants any attention

It is the birthstone of February, the month of love

But Red steals the spotlight, for it is the color of love

Amethyst is a timid color, but do not be fooled

It is brave and royal,

The majesty of the rainbow

Amethyst is strong and radiant

And cannot be faded
