Amid The Stars

Worthless hopes and pointless dreams.

That is what this world seems.

We all reach for light in the dark.

We all want to make a mark.

But these marks are often scars,

And we are lost amid the stars.

We try and try to be heard,

But we are nothing to most of these world.

But to some, we are their world.

We make them whole,

And we don't even know.

We may not be loved by everyone,

But we are loved by someone.

And when your world is in tatters,

Sometimes, that's all that matters.
