Among The Willow And Weeds

I sat among the boughs of many willow and weeds planting the seed of knowledge in my brain I soaked up the warmth of fantasy and novel of adventures to big for me and you when we were 5 I sat among the students on many spring days the seed of wanting more slowly dying away I still soaked up the warmth of fantasy and novel of adventures to big for me and you when we were 7 I sat among the students on many fall and winter days not caring that what I learned in class was to help me someday Only wanting to just go outside and play I still soaked up the warmth of fantasy and novel of adventures to big for me and you when we were 10 Now I still sit among the students, but not ones I knew before The boughs of willow and weeds are miles away And so are you So to keep my heart alive I read more I soak up the warmth of fantasy and novel of adventures to big for me and you Among the virtual Willow and Weeds
