Amy's Comet

She was like an oasis in a very dry desert

A breath of fresh air in a toxic place filled with a lot of pain and hurt

She was only here for one year of high school when I wished she could have stayed for all four

The memories she left behind only made me want her more

You will never experience anything quite like Amy's Comet

The more you experience it, the more you are going to want it

The experience won't last long but you will want it to last forever

You will always remember and cherish the memories you and her had together

She was unique and different when everyone else was the status quo

She was a bright, shining angel, when everyone eles was a devil in provacative clothes

She was sweet and kind when everyone else was vindictive and mean

She was deep and thought provoking as they were shallow as could be

You will never experience anything quite like Amy's Comet

The more you experience it,  the more you are going to want it

The experience won't last long but you will want it to last forever

You will alwys remember and cherish the memories you and her had together

They all stayed behind, while she was the one who had to leave

It seems the ones I connect with the most are the ones that move away from me

But it's the quality and not quanity of time with her that I must always remember

Because something so true and good mostly never really lasts forever

You will never experience anything quite like Amy's Comet

The more you experience it, the more you are going to want it

The experience won't last long but you will want it to last forever

You will always remember and cherish the memories you and her had together
