The Anchor
I don’t want to talk, I don’t want to Skype,
I don’t want to walk around the campus at night.
Overly attached and clingy to the core,
hanging out with you is always a bore.
Just leave me alone, I don’t feel the same
I hate your speech, you’re trying too hard
No one is falling for this façade you’ve put on.
Your smart is all fake, you’ve cheated your way
all respect is gone, burnt up like dry hay.
Your striped shirts drive me crazy,
please get a new style.
Like your personality,
they’re
boring,
unvarying
and honestly they’re vile.
Taller than I
not freakishly so
but no indication of dominance, no.
You cower in fear and rightfully so
For you couldn’t defend yourself from anyone, no.
I hate when you text me, I hate when you call
I don’t want to see you, not even at all.
