Ancient Demons

Sun, 07/14/2013 - 02:12 -- JianTao

She is the ghost haunting you,

She created the fear.

She wasn't the victim

Which is why you and I are now here.

She was the one cracking the whip,

She broke your fragile skin.

She bled out your heart

Which is why I won't let her win.

She is the face of torment, yet

She is love and laughter -

But what will you do

with those who come after?

Don't be the ghost haunting me.

Don't forget who you are.

She may have transformed you,

She carved all your scars.

Don't try to break me down.

Don't bleed out my heart.

For even if our bodies are together,

Our spirits would then be apart.
