And the house laughed

My house doesn't like me Why you say Because I bump into something almost everyday Its purposely put there In front of the stairs So I slip and fall on my dairy aire My backside is bruised All black and blue The house giggles and wiggles with glee Its laughter erupts And shudders the place It scattered the dust And scared a mouse The joke was on me Because you see My eyes were glued On my hand held TV It fell on the floor with a shatter The house bellowed with amused chatter the house always laughs When I trip It laughs When I slip It laughs when I accidentally do the splits It chuckles and grins And trips me again On whatever's most pleasing that day But the house with tricks up its slevees That always laughs at me Doesn't know I'm on the hunt For I have the power to move from this tower And find another that won't let me fall on my rump
