And I'm Off
Came into Brooks and I’m off to thinking it shouldn’t be
Out of thousands who tested, guess who made it, me,
Big school, teenagers for days
Thousands of kids fill up the hallways.
Bell rings and I’m off to class
It’s like the bell rung and I’m off to mass,
The class room doors shut, time to learn
Working super hard so an A I will earn.
I got lost my first day; the ID didn’t come with a map, and I’m off
Ran throughout the school so much could have swore I did a lap,
Worked hard freshmen year, straight A’s was on my mountains peak
Climbed up all the way and then I became a victim of freshmen hell week.
Now I’m a senior and I’m off to be living the dream
Took AP Calc and I’m pretty sure I got a one for the team,
All kind of work on my shoulder, got to get it done
Go home stressed out and all mom and dad can say is relax son.
And I’m off to taking away the work because then school wouldn’t be that bad
Just the fact that I see my teachers more than Ma and Dad,
To be honest, I met some pretty nice people and hope to stay close
Like Mrs. Wermeling, Mr. Gulati, Mr. Goewey, and Mr. Post.
My friends and I about to graduate and we’re off to the future
But we don’t wanna ever end so call us future,
Got plans for college and owning my own business
So deuces Brooks it’s never personal, only business.
Sad to say I’m off, Ill miss the peers I have acquired over 4 years
Knowing that all these memories we shared and we all disappear,
Go our separate ways that Brooks had made one
Oh well guys, so well brooks, it was fun
And I’m Off!
