...And It Was Awesome

The rays of light crept through the blinds.

Each ray travelled a seperate path.

One particular ray came my way.

It peeked under the blanket.

It took me into a warm embrace of hugs and kisses.

My eyes opened to greet the love.

I woke up this morning, and it was awesome.

I slowly closed the front door, making sure not to slam it.

I headed towards the bus stop a mile down the road.

The sky was blue and the grass was green.

Birds were chirping and trees were rustling.

I heard the noise, and it was awesome.

I sat down to eat lunch with my friends.

Chicken nuggets, peas, french fries, and strawberries.

It was sweet and sour, cool and refreshing.

I tasted what the world had to offer, and it was awesome.
