and it's ok

i stood watching

as

you set fire to

my world

and realized at that moment

you

never deserved my world

in the first place

it was easy to carve you out of my life

screaming into the black

the night

at the stars

as every heartbeat and every breath

was emptied into the cold wind

and I removed you from myself
