and onward she flies


Wind beneath her hair she flies onward,

She scrapes the sky with her beauty and parts the clouds with her joy

Below her, the danger, the pain of the world, incomprehensible.

Invincible, passionate, courageous, she won’t look down.

Cross winds blow, she keeps flying straight

Obstacles arise she flies straight through them

Things shoot at her from the horrors below, but she knows better.

Though she is so strong, she is human,

her wings get tired and her heart slows down

She spreads her tainted wings, but this time,

instead of simply reaching the clouds, she aims for the stars

And onward she flies…
