and then silence


And then silence. his voice is raised you can almost hear her cringe, he’s too far gone too many a drink her back against the kitchen sink her arms are raised his voice now crazed he strikes the lips from which he’s praised and through the walls you watch as she falls and sprawls across the floor Then he just yells some more until he realizes that she’ll never get up again and then...
