And Then There Was Sound

Please do not be startled,

I sense your presence in this moon light night.

I no not where you came from, or where you will go next.

No-

Don't leave me, please

Your presence fills me with peace and comfort

But also wonder and hair-raising nervousness.

I can hear the passion in your words.

The blood, sweat, and tears is apparent.

Truely appreciated by few who understand

The melody you carry with you.

I can taste the sorrow you emit. I can bathe in your warmth

Like a fire, you warm my toes and give me hope again.

Like black berries roasting in the sun by the ocean.

And suddenly

You leave me.

And I spend another night waiting anxiously for your return.
